I am 34 years old residing in the lovely city of Pittsburgh. I came from Johnstown Pennsylvania with my daughter to get a new start in life. The biological father of my daughter is currently incarcerated on charges of murder, which left me to be a single mother. Although, I had a double batches degree, I will still only making 8.50/he at a job that I was at for five years. I even worked a second job as a certified nursing assistant, but was still having trouble making ends meet and finding time to spend with my daughter. Both sides of my daughter's family was very supportive physical and financially, but I needed to make a way to better support me and her and still have time to spend with her. I needed her to be in a loving environment where she can explore and get into various activities. After relocating to Pittsburgh, I met my earthly king who showed me how a beautiful bold brown woman is supposed to be treated. He took my daughter as his own and she will even carry his last name. She calls him daddy and I am forever thankful God has blessed me with such a treat. I finished up my masters degree last year and I am currently working as a supervisor with a girl to open up our own group home for consumers with intellectual disabilities/mental health, mental retardation. Either way, favored and blessed I am. My past did not hinder my prosperity because I allowed God to take over. In conclusion, because God held my hand in my time of trouble and carried me in the mist of my storm, I am a Beautiful, Brown,Bold Woman!
