My name is llana C. Morrison. I and 28 years old, work in Hospital Administration, a wife and mother of two. I have taken life by the horns and made something of myself. After getting pregnant in my senior year of high school I made a promise to my mom that I would do everything I told her and then some. After graduating high school I went on to obtain my Associated degree in Teacher Education from CCAC then my Bachelor’s Degree in Child & Family services from IUP and most recently my Master’s in Business Administration from Strayer a week before my 28th birthday while grieving the loss of my little brother who was killed by gun violence just three weeks before my final semester ended. I used his death as a reminder that nothing is promised and you have to cherish every day and the people in your life because in the blink of an eye it could all be gone and I want to leave something for people to remember me by and for my two sons to be proud of. I want to show my sons and children everywhere that it’s not where you come from but where you want to go. Be proud of who you are and what you are. Throughout my life I have learned that Prayer Faith Preparation Hard work and Determination can take you places! This is why I am a Beautiful Brown Bold Woman!
