Hi y'all my name is Jeana LaShawn Emerick I am 37yrs old a very fun (sometimes just down right goofy) loving, outgoing girly girl. Married with 3 kids ages 4, 14, and 20 I'm a nurse. I am proud to be a Beautiful Brown Bold Women Lord knows I have not always been this way dealing with things from a early age and even now like: personal insecurities, negitivity, prejudice, people doubting you even the ones closest to you I could go on and on. This Movement has continued to help me heal and grow and I Thank You. I have learned finally that LOVING Yourself is the most important thing you can do yes I still deal with issues I'm human and I am not perfect in anyway except for being ME. My love my grandmother use to tell me all the time because I am always on the move lol " You can't help anyone else if you can't help yourself."and then she would smile and give me a kiss on the cheek. WHAT???? I would stand there with little huffs puffs thinking like really I'm tired and have more things to do I am helping you what are you talking about?? I wasn't until a few years ago almost 3 to be exact that I truly understood how true this statment was and that's when I knew it was time to work on myself and I'm still a work in progress. I use a phrase "MOVE ALONG" not to be rude but to make people understand that they will not stand in the way of my greatness or others around me. Folks will tear you all the way down to where you feel you can't take anymore but that's when you have to have the strength within to get back up and MOVE ALONG. It took me a very along time to get it and Grandma has since gotten her wings but not a day goes bye that I'm not thankful and happy to know I'm on the right path of making my Gram proud So my sister's I encourage you to BE YOURSELF and MOVE ALONG WE ARE CONQUERS and I Love you All
